You can use the InfraNodus browser extension to analyze the content of any page and generate new research questions and ideas using the built-in AI.
The extension is available in the Google Chrome Web Store, in the Firefox web store (also for Android browsers), as well as a Safari extension for iPhone / iOS or Mac OS via Apple's Testflight beta-testing app.
How to Install the Extension from the Chrome / Firefox Web Store
- Proceed to the Google Web Store or the Firefox Web Store using the link above or search for "InfraNodus".
- Download the extension and activate it.
- Pin it to your browser's toolbar
- Modify settings if you don't want the float button to show up on every page (see below)
How to Install the Extension for iPhone's or Mac OS Safari
- Get the extension from the Apple's TestFlight beta-testing app.
- Open the app and then switch to Safari and go to the browser's settings (the icon to the left of the URL at the bottom)
- Go to Manage Extensions > InfraNodus AI Insights and activate the extension
- Open it again and give it permissions to show on every site (you can also remove the button and activate it manually through the browser's setting menu every time you want to see it.
How to Install the Chrome Extension from a File
- Get the chromium.zip file download from us
- Unzip it to any folder (e.g. your Downloads folder)
- Go to your Chrome browser > Window > Extensions or enter the URL: chrome://extensions/
- Once you see a list of extensions, activate the Developer Mode at the top right corner:
- Once you activate it, you'll see the "Load Unpacked" button on the left side (right under Extensions)
- Click "Load Unpacked", find, select, and enter into the folder you just unpacked (e.g. "chromium")
- Once you click "Select", you will see install the extension and it will load the settings page.
How to Set up InfraNodus Chrome Extension
- InfraNodus Chrome extension has a settings page that allows you to set up its general logic.We recommend to keep the default settings, but you can always access them later using the Settings Tab on the extension. Settings are always accessible from the extension itself if you click the "gear" icon at the top right.
- We recommend clicking the Extensions Tab > then Pin the extension, so that its activation button is always visible in your browser's toolbar. This will enable you to activate it on any website:
- Note, that you can always choose which data gets analyzed by clicking the extension button at the bottom right or at the Pinned extensions tab in your browser's toolbar. Also, the extension will automatically show next to your Google search results.
a) If you don't want it to show in your Google results, select "No" in "Inject to Websites" section of the settings
b) If you don't want to see the activation button at the bottom right corner of your screen, select "No" in "Show Floating Button" section of the settings.
c) If you want to manually confirm activation of the extension each time it loads, change the Trigger Mode from "Automatic" to "Manual"
d) If you'd like to save all content to InfraNodus without having to open a new window, go to Settings > "When Exporting Data to InfraNodus" > Save Automatically and choose a name for the graph where everything should be saved. - You need to be logged in to your account at https://infranodus.com/login to make sure your browser session in Chrome is active to use the extension.

Troubleshooting
If something is not working, the best way to fix it is to reload the browser's page (reload button or Ctrl-R on PC and Command+R on Mac).
If the problem persists, you can deactivate and reactivate the extension. If this doesn't work, you can uninstall it install it again (remember to update your settings after).
Finally, if you're a technical user, you can check the Developer's Console for the site you're having problems with, see if there are any errors, and also remove all infranodus variables from the Application > Local Storage fields.
