MIDI interface

I am trying to connect an online synthesizer (e.g. OBDX - https://www.webaudiomodules.org/wamsynths/obxd) and Infranodus graph (via MIDI interface). Should an online synthesizer first recognize “Infranodus” or vice versa? How exactly should I set it up?
