Disappearing or missing icons for merging nodes, more importanly for deleting unwanted nodes

When tidying a graph by merging nodes the merge node icon disappears after while. Although, in reality its still there in ghost mode i.e. if you click on where the merge icon should be it still performs as normal.

More importantly, I cannot delete unwanted nodes because the bin icon i have seen in the tutorial never appears for me. I'm using Chrome. Maybe there is a simple workaround?

  Hey Pete, thank you for this comment! Sometimes it happens if the graph switches back into the basic mode from the advanced mode (the switch at the top next to the name). We will also put this into development queue and make sure to double-check this problem!
